I wanted to use a more succinct phrase for the title of this post, but I thought I might get into trouble. You have to be careful online these days! Fact is though, the autumn has well and truly arrived and winter will inevitably follow. Having had to close in March at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have now successfully been providing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Massage therapies since we reopened at the beginning of August. This success has been as a result of the hard work of all our volunteers our centre manager Sharn, and, of course, the therapists Emily and Jo. But as the weather closes in, we must emphasise the need for all our members and volunteers to be even more careful. Outdoor ventilation will be more difficult in the colder temperatures and we will continue to restrict entry to the centre based on pre-booked appointments.
It’s also the time of year when we must remind everyone about our cold-weather policy.
In the event of bad weather, the centre will be closed. We must consider the welfare of the volunteers who run the centre and the safety of all our members. We advise you to call the centre on 01908 225907 if there is snow or ice, to ensure that we are open. If there is no reply in opening hours WE ARE CLOSED! Please note that our current opening hours have changed recently. Please refer to About Us for details.
